The architectural ensemble, designed by Carlo Rossi in the XIX century. Monuments of history and culture of Russia and St. Petersburg the federal level. The ensemble is one of the highest achievements of Russian urban art. As part of the historic buildings downtown St. Petersburg area is included in the UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Saint Petersburg (tr.: "Sankt-Peterburg") is a city and a federal subject of Russia located on the Neva River at the east end of the Gulf of Finland on the Baltic Sea.
