Marling (Italian: "Marlengo"; Archaic (1102 AD): "Marnea", "Marniga", "Merniga", "Marlinga", "Marninga") is a "comune" (municipality) in the province of Bolzano-Bozen in the Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 60 km north of Trento and about 25 km northwest of Bolzano. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,268 and an area of 12.8 km².All demographics and other statistics: Italian statistical institute Istat.
