The portion of sky in this view is called by and old saying "Da spigal in Ascheri" (The portion, of sky, over the Ascheri village). The tradition says that if you see there a portion of clear sky while everywhere else is cloudy, this implies that the bad weather will persist. The picture is updated every 15 minutes.

La webcam è posizionata nel paese di Issime (Valle d'Aosta). E' puntata in direzione NNW verso la cima Weiss Weib. La parte di cielo inquadrata è chiamata da un vecchio detto locale "Da spigal in Ascheri" (Lo specchio, di cielo, ad Ascheri). Secondo la tradizione se si apre uno specchio di cielo sereno in quella zona quando altrove e' tutto nuvoloso, questo significa che il maltempo e' destinato a continuare.
