The small coastal town of St. Andrews is located near the Canadian-American border to Maine. It is situated at the end of a peninsula jutting into Passamaquoddy Bay. The world’s biggest tidal difference occurs here, in the Bay of Fundy - the sea level changes by up to 17 metres.
