Catania (Greek: &ndash; "Katánē"; Latin: "Catana" and "Catina"; Arabic: "Balad-al-Fil" or "Medinat-al-Fil", "Wadi Musa" and "Qataniyah") is the second-largest city of Sicily, southern Italy, and is the capital of the province which bears its name.
