Hamburg-Webcam mit Blick über die Holzbrück auf das Nikolaifleet, mitten aus der Speicherstadt. Mit Nikolaifleet wird der ursprüngliche Hauptmündungsarm der Alster in Hamburg bezeichnet. Hier begann Entwicklung des heutigen Hamburger Hafens. Zwischen Holzbrücke und Hoher Brücke liegt der letzte erhaltene Fleetabschnitt mit der typischen hamburgischen Architektur. Bis ins 19. Jahrhundert wurden hier auf dem Wasserwege Waren in die Speicher umgeschlagen. Nach dem Hamburger Feuer 1842 wurde die Hamburger Innenstadt umgestaltet, um Platz für ein neues Rathaus und den Rathausmarkt zu schaffen.
