Klínovec (in German "Keilberg") is a mountain in the Czech Republic. With a height of 1,244 meters, it is the highest point of the Ore Mountains ("Krušné hory"). The mountain is near the village of Boží Dar (Gottesgab), 4 km northeast from Jáchymov (St. Joachimsthal) in the Karlovy Vary Region (Carlsbad Region). The average temperature is 2,6°C, the rainfall is around 986 mm per anno. On the top of the mountain there is a former tourist hotel and a transmitting tower.
