Alzate Brianza is a "comune" (municipality) in the Province of Como in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 35 km north of Milan and about 10 km southeast of Como. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 4,815 and an area of 7.7 km². The municipality of Alzate Brianza contains the "frazioni" (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Fabbrica Durini, Mirovano, and Verzago.
