Algund (Italian: "Lagundo") is a "comune" (municipality) in the province of Bolzano-Bozen in the Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 70 km north of Trento and about 25 km northwest of Bolzano. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 4,228 and an area of 23.6 km².All demographics and other statistics: Italian statistical institute Istat.
