Further information about Dagmersellen

Dagmersellen is a municipality in the district of Willisau in the canton of Lucerne in Switzerland. It has an area of 14 km² and a population of approximately 3300. It is situated on the A2 motorway between Basel and Lucerne. Over the last decades Dagmersellen has turned from a farming village into an industrial town, attracting domestic and international companies due to its location. On 1 January 2006, the former municipalities of Buchs and Uffikon were merged into Dagmersellen, causing a one-third increase in its population and a marked increase in its territorial area.
